Issue
The HP LaserJet M1005 multifunction printer will not turn on, and the
control panel is blank. A possible cause is a power supply failure.
Solution
Step one: Turn the printer off and on
Turn off the power by using the power switch, and then wait at least
30 seconds.
Step two: Use another power cord
- Replace the power cord with another cord.
- Turn off the power by using the power switch, and then wait at least 30 seconds.
Step three: Plug the power cord into a wall socket
If a surge protector is being used, remove it. Plug the
printer’s power cord directly into the wall socket.
